So I got pulled over for going through a red light (there was a left turn arrow and I wasn't paying attention and pulled through the intersection). The officer checked my license in his car and my proof of insurance, but he never actually gave me a citation or any written warning. My question is does this need to be reported to cadre? I've heard from others that if there is no written citation or ticket that it does not need to be reported. I figured it can't hurt to report it, but I also don't want get my cadre upset for reporting something that doesn't need to be reported.

I'd suggest reporting it.

The AFRTOC instruction is to report all involvement with civil authorities. It doesn't matter if a citation was given or charges were filed. If you want to cover your bases and stay above board, report it. If you want to gamble, then don't.

I'd be shocked if the cadre did anything about it other than counsel you to be more attentive.
