Asking for a friend. His DD's a D1 athlete who'll graduate from a university next month. Is anyone aware of a college or university program described above? She's interested in Intel. Also mods; should this post be in the ROTC forum? Is OTC the way to go?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you are asking. A D1 athlete with remaining eligibility who wants to play in grad school while doing AFROTC?

I’ve heard of athletes playing in grad school, but usually for the same university.

There are also NCAA exceptions for military service. For example, Casey Carroll graduated from Duke in 2007 and was commissioned as a 2LT in the Army. After serving in the Army to include tours in Afghanistan he went to Duke for his MBA. He had some eligibility left and was able to play for the Duke national championship team. But again, he played for Duke as an underclass man.
I’m not sure what the NCAA rules would be for your DD if she does a straight transfer to another university for grad school. Of course she would also need a coach willing to give her a shot for one year.
