AFROTC EA due date

Hoping to see you there too :thumb:. I'm one of the 3 females that got selected at my det this year even though we had 11 going up for EAs, a record number of female FTP cadets for us in the past 3 years at least.

That's weird. We had a really low female select rate too. We had 6 females go up for EAs and 2 got selected. That was a record for us as far as largest % of female class size before EAs came out. There's only 1 female AS300 right now so we'll only have 3 female POC next year.

Hope to see you at FT though!! :thumb:

We've also had only 1 female POC for about a year now, luckily she'll be around for another year to guide us and the GMC females since male POC generally don't know much (or anything really) about female regs and tend to give out conflicting or useless information to us . If all 3 of us make it through FT we'll have the largest number of female POC in quite a long time. I'm starting to get really pumped to join the POC next semester, been taking notes these past 2 years of the good and bad leadership demonstrated and am ready to help implement some change.

DS said No trading Max's at his Det this late in the game, no biggie. Like I said before, he is just grateful to have a spot!

Really? Well they did let us know 5 weeks after they were supposed to so I guess it wouldn't be surprising if they decided they didn't want to deal with the paperwork this late in the game.

Just got the word today that I'll be seeing you folks at Max 5 along with five of my dearest wingmen. Would someone put up the Facebook group link?

Hi all. As a new afrotc mom, can anyone direct me to a thread that explains what max 1,2, etc. is? I've learned much about ea and ftp by reading your threads. I can only guess that perhaps max number refers to your base and summer session dates?
Thanks for the wealth of information and advice from this forum!

Good guess. Max numbers indicate which Summer Field Training session cadets who got EAs this year will be going to. Max 1 starts May 21 and they go through Max 5 which starts July 16, dates vary every year. They're called Max's because the training takes place at Maxwell AFB, Alabama.
