I’ve been waiting all January for this board ever since I was reboarded and now I feel extra nervous. I’m really stressed out on wether or not I’ll get accepted but I kept telling myself to calm down and wait. For everyone who fees the same way just relax take a breather a bit too and let’s talk here while we wait.

Good Luck. My kid is up for the first time. Fingers crossed and looking for another couple of entertaining, if slightly stressful, weeks on this board.

Is there a usual protocol for manner and time of results notification?

My son has been re-boarded twice. Anyone else?
I’ve been reboarded once so far. From what I’ve found those before the new year are the ones who are shooting for the ivy leagues and have incredibly high scores. The early boards are really gonna be giving them scholarships first while reboarding other competitive candidates for a later pool. Something I’ve also found out is that those who got a type 7 and a type 2 and are going to those ivy Leauge schools( their are also more in the list don’t remember them off the top of my head) have the change to convert it into a type 1. What I think would happen next is that their are going to be more type 7s and type 2s to be given inside the pool.

Does the board tell an applicant during the week if they are given a scholarship, or do the announcements of who receives a scholarship all come out at the same time after this week?

"Your application will meet the next available selection board, scheduled February 3. Results will be released on or about February 18. "

Seems like, from posts around previous boards that the results came out faster than advertised?

What is a type 7 and a type 2? Also, may I ask what your profile is (GPA, scores, etc?)?

My major is Computer Science and my first career field choice is TACP Officer. I have a 3.09 unweighted gpa 3.2 weighted, 1300 SAT score, I got an 86.5 on the PFA, I’ve done Varsity sports for the first time junior year and still continuing, I’m the Muslim Student Association president, National Latin Honor Society secretary, film club secretary, Model UN delegate, was part of the speech and debate club, was part of FBLA, and a C/MSgt in the Civil Air Patrol. I’d say my interview went well the captain was very engaged with what I had to say and I didn’t Sound cocky or nervous at all.

also the biggest factor is the interview.

My son is also on this board. It’s his second time re-boarded :( nervous is an understatement

Hopefully it will be a quick turn around. The December board result was delayed coming to us. They said there was a glitch in the system that prevented email from going out. The November Board was quick. I am praying for positive news!!
