AFROTC Rated Boards 2016

Doesn't your CoC do an end of semester sit down with cadets? That would be the perfect time since rated board selection does not occur until Feb.
~ AFter the end of your fall semester.

FT is not spectacular, however, your PCSM is!
Your cgpa even if you are non-tech is strong. PFA is strong, but if it was me, I would continue to work out and try to get even higher. The PFA is one thing you TRULY have control over regarding your OML.
~ Just like SFT there will be a line drawn, above X # you get Pilot, below and you don't. It can be very slim. Let's say 365 are selected, and you are #366. What if I said that had your PFA been 98 you would have been #364, would you be kicking yourself for not running every a.m. instead of just running the week prior to the PFT?

I would think that as an AS300 you have a job in the det. I would think that if you look around you can quickly figure out where you stand for your RSS. Are you on track to be a CWC or CVWC? Flight Commander? Mentor? Look to your left, look to your right, I bet you can figure out quickly the shining star cadets. Look at the 400s within your unit and their stats as a 300.

I get the stress. Truly I do. However, getting a rated slot is statistically on par with getting an EA slot. Pilot a little different, bc it will usually be always on the high selection level compared to ABM/CSO or RPA. Do I think you will get rated with that PCSM and cgpa? YEP. Do I think that if your CoC ranks you 50% like SFT, pilot might be hard to obtain. Hence, get that PFA up even higher if you can because the breakdown means the PFA may be that 0.25322 pt to put you into the pilot pool selection and not RPA or CSO.

Best of luck

Does anyone know when we will be notified of our UPT base assignment? I got selected in the FY16 board for Pilot and graduate Spring 2017.

Thanks!!
