Hey does anyone know when the information for the AFROTC Rated Boards 2017 is due?

According to AFPC's site, the update suspense is 1 Jan for this past 2016 board. It was the same case last year. I would play it safe and assume 1 Jan 2017 is the update suspense unless you hear otherwise from you cadre. See attachment.

Anyone have an idea on when the last day to take the AFOQT is? Might have to ask my cadre for this

There is no deadline for retaking the AFOQT. The deadline is to update your information in WINGS. Therefore, as soon as you get your results cadre can update your info. Depending on your geographic location and what day of the week you take the test, it typically takes 10-14 days to get results back. Also, you have to consider that updating your information in WINGS over the Christmas break is not likely.

So this is what I would suggest to you... Find out when the last business day is for cadre before they go on the holiday break. Take that date and subtract three weeks to err on the side of caution. Whatever date that is, should be your unofficial deadline.

So as an example, if cadre's last day is Dec 20th, then take the test NLT 29 Nov. I hope you find this info useful and good luck to you!

Hey guys,

Below you will find more details about the upcoming rated board as well as some ENJJPT stats.

1. The WINGS Categorization panel will open on 9 Jan 17 to nominate applicants for rated duty.
2. The deadline to nominate applicants for rated categorization is 20 Jan 17.
3. From 23 Jan to 3 Feb 16, AFROTC/RRFP will conduct a review of all information submitted.
4. The board will convene on 6 Feb 17.
5. Categorization board results are projected for release via WINGS on or about 17 Feb 17.

ENJJPT stats:

Due to the large variance in Det sizes, the most meaningful way to compare the RSS is relative to a class size of 20.

ENJJPT Avg PCSM 83.8

ENJJPT Avg AFOQT-P 92.2

ENJJPT Avg CGPA 3.59

ENJJPT Avg PFA 98.46

ENJJPT Avg CC rank 2.8 of 20

ENJJPT Avg FTU rank 4.4 of 20

Hey guys, it pains me to do this, but I felt like I had to... But, what do you think my chances are of getting a rated slot?

GPA: 3.1 (give or take)
PFA: 100
FT Rank: 6/23
Class Rank: Top third (presumably 2 or 3 out of 20ish)
PCSM: 51 (with new flight hours!)
CSO: 62
ABM: 73

Now, comparing above, I think I have a decent shot, considering that the scores above negate FTR and CC's rank. I'm putting "high" for Pilot, CSO and ABM... I really don't mind which one I get but I prefer pilot- I'd be perfectly happy with any of the three, nonetheless. Some of the scores I hear floating around seem different than the ones above, and I've heard of guys getting pilot with a 41 PCSM and CSO with a similar CSO score. Also, not to hop on the rumor train, but I head this year might be a little looser as well.

I guess I'm just looking for some piece of mind over the break. Thank you all, the best to you on finals! Have a fantastic holiday season and break.
