AFROTC Scholarship and GI Bill

Wondering if anyone has combined Post 9/11 GI Bill with AFROTC scholarship? Sure wish there was a way to use both at VMI to help offset the R&B, quartermaster, athletic/medical fees. But seems like you would be giving away the tuition either way.
 
You should be able to use it for bah, though it will still use months just as if it was paying for the school as well.
 
I am pretty sure you can use both.

However, if all goes as planned we are hoping to save the GI Bill for our daughters, DS will use the ROTC scholarship for tuition and we will pay for the room and board or use a loan.
