AFROTC Scholarship - major

My DD won a AFROTC scholarship and put computer science as her intended major. The school she wants to attend has it listed as an approved major on the Air Force website. When she was trying to accept the scholarship online her major wasn't listed. She emailed someone for help and they told her that computer science wasn't an accredited program as her intended school (even though it is listed on their website). Anyone else run into this problem??

Yeah I plan on majoring in computer science or engineering and want to go to Ohio State; however, Ohio State's only major in that area is computer science & engineering. No computer science or computer engineering although it says on the AFROTC website that these are supported majors for Ohio State not computer science & engineering.

We fortunately called the school and they made an update in the computer. She was able to officially accept her scholarship with computer science as her 1st choice school. WooHoo!!

My son had to do the same thing as his major was not listed on pull down menu. His crosstown detachment was notified and they made the correction.
