Do Air Force ROTC scholarships cover both the basic tuition and the supplemental tuition if you are out of state? For example, UC Berkeley is $14,254 for tuition and fees and then $29,754 for nonresidential supplemental tuition, so do the type 1 and type 7 scholarships cover both?

type 1 yes all

type 2 capped at $18000/year

type 7 full in state tuition at public school...if OOS only if the school says they will offer in state, such as A&M

Type 1 will cover full tuition, books, and fees at any university with an AFROTC Detachment.

Type 7 will cover full tuition, books, and fees at any university for which you qualify for in-state tuition.

For example, I'm on a Type 7. I'm from Colorado, so I could've chosen any school from Colorado with a Det. But I also qualified for in-state tuition at Texas A&M, so I could've chosen that school instead.
