AFROTC starting college

At my college AFROTC moves in a week earlier than everyone else. Does anyone know why and what do the cadets do during that week?
 
Every college is different. Most don't report early. To get the most accurate information, contact the AROTC program that you will be joining. I assume they will be sending you a welcome letter soon about the early reporting.
 
Purdue freshman come in early for a week long orientation. Lots of it is fun and games. If you joined AFROTC, you leave the rest of the freshman on the last two days and two orientation with them
