AFROTC Type 7.....

How does that work for private college (not public). One of the schools selected is the U of Miami, and it only has one tuition (no in-state/out-of-state). Thanks in advance.
 
Type 7 will covert to a 3 year, type 2 if going to a private university. So rather than getting 4 years at the in state rate, you’d get 3 years at $18K per year starting your sophomore year. All other financial benefits (book/monthly stipend) also will start your sophomore year.

Do your homework! Once you're in a unit the officers are not going to spoon feed you. Time to start practicing doing your own research. If you're a parent then the kid should do it.

I probably should have asked the question differently. Research has been done. Often, however, examples are given by those who answer certain questions here on the boards and I find such examples helpful.

BTW, this is not the Marine Corp. With all due respect, please back off and watch your tone. Thank you.

I t doesn't matter if it's the Marine COrps.... but be assured I'll back off from your posts from here on out.
