AFROTC Waiver

I have taken my exam last year for USAFA and was DQ due to shoulder surgery. I was not requested a waiver due to not being competitive. I am in AFROTC now and have been requested for a waiver. Can anyone tell me if shoulder surgery is a common waiver? I had the surgery 3 years ago and have made a complete recovery

There are NO common waivers...and shoulders...are one of the prime examples. Each are evaluated by the AF Recruiting Service on their individual capabilities; current status; and prognosis. Shoulders are a REAL issue and are rarely waived for USMC..period
