Hey everyone! I applied for a AFROTC scholarship back in October and didn't get the December board, but my application is going to (or was) put before the February board. I know that that the results don't come out for about a week or so. However I tried checking the AFRTOC portal today and one of Google Chromes warning boxes came up and warned me that "The sites security certificate has expired". What's up with that? This is the first time that I've have any issue with it.

There should be an option to "Proceed anyway" or something similar. This is a common error found on many websites of all types, not just military/government controlled ones.

EDIT: A more in-depth explanation: All sites must renew their security certificate every 1, 2, or 5 years. Also, check the date/year on your computer as if it is not current it can cause this issue.

Try a different browser. Chrome doesn't give you a choice to proceed but IE does and I'm pretty sure Safari does as well.
