AF's 2nd all time leading RB booted less than a week before graduation

The information I have received is that Asher Clark gets his diploma but does not get to go through graduation. I believe he is already home. Haven't heard about his future although he was reportedly working out in front of those who choose NFL teams. Maybe he is trying to walk-on.....

An NFL minimum rookie salary ($390,000) would certainly help him pay back the monetary obligation.

But explaining to other non-NFL employers that he has a degree from the USAFA, but was kicked out 1 week before graduation for using an illegal drug, might be a little problematic.

Having watched Asher play football for 4 years...he's good but I don't believe he's NFL caliber.

That not withstanding...I've not heard/seen anything "from USAFA" regarding him receiving his degree. That "normally" has not been the case for folks in his situation as they're deemed NOT to have "met the standards for graduation..."

I do know that in the past, a small number of cadets have been allowed to graduate BUT were not commissioned as they'd committed some "transgression" that the AF determined disqualified their commissioning. One of my classmates fell into this situation; he was ordered to active duty as an E-4 and had to serve for 5 years.

I'll ask "the powers that be" to see if they'll have any comment/answer on this one question.
