Earlier this week, I was notified that I received an appointment and I have already accepted it. I am currently in the process of filling out the documents like the Medical Readiness form and the Screening Questionnaire. I have finished all of the forms except the Background check. After the Background Form is completed, are there any other steps I need to take before Indoc-day?

In Mid-April you will receive the Permit to Report (PTR). It’s a lot more forms, paperwork and details. Other than that, stay out of trouble, work out, run a lot, have fun!

Browse through this forum back over the last few weeks, look for “Now What?” types of threads. I know I have seen at least one.

Google “USNA Plebe Summer Home.” It still shows Class of 2026 info, and will be updated in the spring, but it’s worth going through. Much does not change.
In particular, look at the Permit To Report (PTR). There will be plenty to do.

Beyond above, get your transportation and housing set. Those both start filling up as the class builds.

Always refundable!

Get a civilian passport, get any needed vaccines like the 5th polio dose, etc listed in the PTR (don’t want to be sore to start PS), get your TB blood test drawn and print out pan report, get current eye exams/contacts and teeth cleanings if needed, get fitted professionally for running shoes (for hard surfaces) and buy 2 pairs, open an NFCU acct, reserve housing for IDay and PPW.
