I want to go to USMA after highschool; however, I have a concern. I turn 17 on July 1 after I graduate highschool. No one can give me a clear answer. Can I or can I not go that year? Thank you for your time, I appreciate you answering.

From the West Point website. “You must be at least 17 years old by July 1st of the year you enter West Point.”

If you turn 17 on July 1, you’re fine.

AF-AR MA is right you can apply. Below is directly copied from the USMA website.

• You must be at least 17 years old by July 1st of the year you enter West Point
  • EX: For enrollment in 2020, your birthday must be on or before 01/07/2003.
