How do you all feel about the future of military aviation? Is AI taking over? Boeing has a interesting new drone:

Very Interesting concept. Basically "follow the leader" as a group of drones fly in formation with a manned aircraft matching flight path and maneuvers using presumably onboard AI systems and not a ground based UAV pilots. Modular nose cone swap for specific missions is a pretty neat idea too.
 
I wonder how secure the drone would be... im sure it could be hacked despite it being an enclosed system. Boeing doesn’t specifically say it will be used offensively Air to Air, but they do say it is designed to shield manned aircraft from AAM, as well as take out defensive targets. I wonder though, if this is the beginning of the end for pilots.
