Good luck to everyone waiting, my daughter is also on pins and needles.
I hope these kids get good news tomorrow but I keep impressing on my DD that it's not the end of the world if she doesn't get in....there are so many kids applying for a relatively small number of spots. Hoping they offer them Cadet for a Day in the fall if they don't get into AIM. But honestly both her and I feel AIM will really be eye opening for those fortunate enough to be selected. I want so badly for her to have a realistic understanding of what Cadet life will be like; as much as that is possible haha. Lots of good vibes for everyone waiting (impatiently lol). We've tried to keep busy but are impatient for tomorrow. My DD REALLY wants to go!
Log into Bear's Den and click on the application tab. Under the AIM application there is a link that says your decision is ready or something like that. I clicked on that and the letter said I was admitted! Good luck! How did you guys find out? Email? Nothing there yet and nothing on Bear's Den, unless I'm looking in the wrong place??
Thanks for the directions to check.
DS was waitlisted. Kind of bummed, actually, had no idea it would be that difficult to get in.
We really can't wait around to see if he's admitted by June 5 as there are other programs he's interested in attending this summer. Any idea how likely it is to get off the waitlist?
CongratsDD was admitted! She is beyond excited. Good luck to those still waiting.
That's what I've heard as well. I believe 500 spots?Waitlisted. Very disappointed. Been planning to do this since he was 10 years old. Does anyone know how many are accepted to AIM?. How big is each session? I vaguely remember reading somewhere that it is kinda a lottery. Is that true?
