Greetings all. My son started AIM session 3 yesterday and I wondered if there were any other session 3 families here on the forum? We are really looking forward to driving up to New London for the graduation on Friday.

This week is extra significant for our family as my husband went through AIM 26 years ago back when it was an Auxiliary run program. We're really praying our son gets a good taste of CGA life this week and a different perspective from what he knows as a military dependent.

I've watched a bit of AIM from the outside (9 years ago, but still...it feels like it was recently) and the AIM cadre give them a really good taste of CGA Swab Summer life.

Yep... my son is there as well!

My son took the train up yesterday... Very much looking forward to getting up there at the end of the week!! Pretty crazy... I did AIM 26 years ago as well with the CG Auxiliary from San Pedro, CA. Swore in and graduated with the class of 92!

EVEN YEAR!

For anyone who is thinking it's too much of a coincidence to have two people who went through AIM 26 years ago both have their sons at AIM Session 3 - you are right!! That is my husband who just joined the forums and replied to my post!

Now the question is.... who do I know that your husband knows. I know a few '91 and a number of '94 but I think I may only know one '92.... but maybe not.

My son is also attending. Does anyone know if there is a facebook page or a link where pictures will be posted? Session I seems to have them but session II seems to be having trouble finding them

Yes, you can go on facebook and search for a gentleman named Paul Duddy. He takes and uploads pictures to his page. You do not have to "friend" him to view them. Last I checked there were some AIM pictures from today (haven't spotted my son yet though).

You can also check the Coast Guard Academy flickr page but there haven't been any new pictures posted since AIM session 1.

Just a follow up on that. Paul Duddy does post a ton of pictures. I haven't seen any of my son yet, but they are fun to look through. Thank you for the information and thank you Mr Duddy if you are on this site
