I saw that there was a West Point application timeline. I was curious if there was one for the AFA, or are they the same?

Also, what does "DS" mean?

One more question, people always refer to ones profile such as, "You look pretty competitive from your profile." How do I fill mine out?

"DS" is "dear son"

Most people here are just talking about what a person posted as their grades and activities, etc.
