Hello Yall!
I am a Civil Engineering Student in Air Force ROTC and am interested in life as a Civil Engineer in the Air Force.
I am interested in all aspects of the Civil Engineering field, including the work life balance, the average day in the life, the culture, and the community. Obviously this is directed at Civil Engineers, but I am also interested in hearing anything that comes to mind on the field.
Would life be described active and hands on or would I spend more time at a desk?
How would you describe the community in the Civil Engineering field? (Honest opinion, I won't judge.)
Why did you choose this field, and what are some highlights to your career? In contrast, what are some things that you find difficult? (For Civil Engineers specifically)
Currently, I am looking into RED HORSE because it sems to provide a diverse and exciting lifestyle. I look forward to the deployment opportunities, the tight-knit community, and the chance to explore the world. However, I am also interested in the opportunities that PRIME BEEF has to offer.
Like I said, any and all opinions are welcome, as long as they are honest. If you have experience and are interested in a prolonged conversation, feel free to reach out!
