Air Force jobs that help you "see the world"

Do a search for AFSC (Air Force Specialty Code). That is how jobs are broken down in AF lingo.

Here is a good guide with job descriptions:

Very helpful!

Sorry to ask...

As Capt MJ wrote " The annual distribution is out there." Do you know how to find this? The breakdown of USAFA job assignments?

It's so easy to find the USNA one it's here: https://www.usna.edu/NewsCenter/2019/11/NAVAL_ACADEMY_CLASS_OF_2020_OBTAIN_CAREER_ASSIGNMENTS.php

But I've been googling an hour now and can't find USAFA breakdown for any year..

I was looking at the some of the majors on AcademyAdmissions. Are the jobs in Operations Research, Computer science, Data science could be good to getting into overseas jobs?
Generally, no. Most research jobs are stateside.

I haven’t had much luck finding public listings, either. The closest I’ve gotten is this article but it is only D-1 athlete assignments.

I guess it all depends on what you want to do while seeing the world. Not sure about the AF but if you enlist in Marine Corps like my husband did you'll probably get to spend plenty of time in Asia. And even get to sleep on the jungle floor with some giant snakes. lol
