Air Force memo reveals racial quota system.

From the memo: "These goals are aspirational, aligning resources to invest in our long-term objectives and will not be used in any manner that undermines our merit-based processes. You are directed to develop a diversity and inclusion outreach plan aimed at achieving these goals no later than 30 September 2022." emphasis mine
I don't see any quotas.
And from the article: "lack Americans had served ably and honorably throughout the conflict, and many had come home to less than a hero’s welcome." Less than a hero's welcome! Is that what he considers not being allowed to vote, not being able to own property, having underfunded education for their kids, not being allowed to use the GI Bill for college, being lynched or beaten to death?

The standard of what passes for journalism in the right wing media is honestly shocking and terrifying. The headline of the article and the content have never so much as emailed one another yet how many people will read the headline, never read the text and then spread it as fact. It literally lists the racial demographics of the country and says it would be great if the military could be representative of this but acknowledges that this is aspirational. Not a quota in sight. Depressing....

😂

I have never heard of this “news” place. I stopped reading after the first paragraph.

But to lump this in to discredit right wing media - wait until you find out about the left wing media. It’s like a bloodbath! ;)

Regardless of the accuracy or inaccuracy of this particular article, Brown is well known for pushing the DEI nonsense.

I remember 10+ years ago folks here on SAF whining about how racist it was to suggest cadets would eventually begin to be admitted to the academies based on their skin color, and yet here we are a decade later and that’s exactly what’s happening.
