Almost UPT Complete

Hey Steve,

That's good to know. I still want 135s. Who doesn't want overpowered engines :)
Are you still with 15-06 as far as what comes out on the dream sheet, or are you completely separated from them for dreaming and dropping?

Is there any difference really between the UPT bases (excluding Sheppard)? Obviously they're in different states, but other than that? Is there any difference in the way they the syllabus is run, what drops they get, how flying is, etc?

Not so much. Students and Vance, Columbus, and Laughlin all fly the same syllabus. As such, flying should be pretty much the same. In terms of flying, I've heard Vance has more crosswinds, but it's just small nuances like that between the bases. Drops will also be similar between the bases. On the T-1 side, when students get a drop sheet, it lists specific planes and bases that are available for a specific drop. i.e. E-3 to Tinker, C-21 to Scott, RC-135 to Offut, C-17 to Charleston, Dover, and McChord, KC-10 to Travis, etc... Except for the FAIP drops (they'll go specific to the base, so Vance will FAIP to Vance), all T-1 students at the three bases will see and receive assignments from the same drop sheet. T-38 students list their preferences for all airframes, including heavies, tankers, and ISR platforms. They don't know what is actually available for their assignments.

dtkdarnoc,

I'm completely separated from them. As if we were two different classes all along.

If anybody is trying to keep up with 15-07 from the T-1 track side... attached is the T-1 available drop. The only difference between mine (Laughlin) and Columbus and Vance is the fact that you would FAIP at your respective base.11043050_10204665242685708_1640811056305743755_n.jpg

Oh and drop night is this Friday March 20th!

Awesome! Really wasn't a bad assignment on the sheet except perhaps FAIP to Laughlin.

Thanks hornet and buffalo! I'm happy to go back home to Hurlburt and be in AFSOC. I didn't think there was a bad assignment either.

You guys know if it’s possible to drop a B-52 Stratofortress If you tracked T-1’s? Or even a B-1B?
