Hello everyone,

Re-applicant here. I was assigned to a new ALO for my new application, which I planned on requesting anyway. That said, he has been very unresponsive to multiple attempts to contact him and I am thinking about requesting a new ALO.

Here is our current communication chain:

(all by e-mail)
1. I emailed him in early August introducing myself with fairly long message.
2. I get an generic email back from him end of August asking me to pick out 3 dates/times to talk about AFA application process.
3. Email him back next day with dates/times along with a copy of my original message to him stating that he might not have received it because of internet connectivity.
4. Get an email back a over a week later asking me if "tomorrow works for the interview" again, not address any or my questions. Just a standard response.
5. Email back that day saying I'm working "tomorrow" and give a new list with about 10 dates/times

Its been over 2 weeks since that email, a lot of the dates I gave him have passed. I am not sure what to do to reach out to him and establish effective communication.

Should I request a new ALO?

Thanks for the anticipated help.

First off, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR SCREEN NAME TO SOMETHING ANONYMOUS IMMEDIATELY. Please.

You do understand, of course, that ALOs are all volunteer, have jobs and families and lives of their own. You sent him a "fairly long message;" are these things not going to be covered in your interview with him?

OK, two weeks have passed. Please send an additional email, with respect and kindness considering he's trying to help YOU, requesting another date/time.

I see you joined us in March, and this is your first post. You know what lurkers are like then. CHANGE YOUR SCREEN NAME.
