I sent an email to my ALO July 11, and followed up on that email July 31; he hasn't responded to either. Considering I'm in a time critical stage of the class of '22 application cycle, what steps can I take to re-establish contact? Yes, I sent it to the right email and I have had email correspondence in the past at the same email address and in person. Thanks

I believe there is a regional director you can reach out to, also I would contact Admissions if at a time critical stage.

If you are trying to set up your interview, please know that the process has changed this year and interview ALOs have not yet been assigned.

Hi!

You're not in a "time critical stage" of the '22 application cycle, trust me. NOBODY except those with Presidential nominations, have even been identified other than athletes and the VERY small pool of "uber kids" with the unreal scores.

What you saw above is correct; the process for ALO's has changed dramatically this cycle and while we may have students assigned to us, it's quite possible that we won't be the evaluator for those students.

Your approach is good; if you're still not making contact with your ALO, and you've e-mailed and called...drop me a PM with your school's name and location and I'll check the list to see who the ALO is and the LOD. We'll get you in touch.

Taken directly from the Instructions to Candidates booklet: "Note: The ALO mentor you had previous contact with will not conduct your interview/evaluation". In bold font. Rather, a separate Evaluator will be assigned. If you are up to this step already, then you are definitely in the very very very front of the pack.
