Been feeling unmotivated to work on my application with USAFA because I have a 24 ACT. I am a white male and heavily involved in all other aspects of academy needs (sports, leadership, community, etc...). I’m just staying disciplined to complete the application by Nov. 1st but it’s a annoyance knowing that my highest test score as of now is a 24 ACT. Do I have a chance? Be honest.

Have you been deemed an official candidate? To be honest, you will have a hard time competing on a competitive slate with a 24 composite ACT score.

Yes. Just don’t know if I should focus on the USAFA application as much as other service academies and ROTC. Still got the SAT saturday and still will apply regardless with the upmost hope.

Focus on all of your applications, studying/practicing for ACT test , and retaking the test. That standardized test score is important for ALL of them!
Don’t let that one thing (ACT) within your control hold you back from achieving your goals.
Get after it!

Do not give up. You can raise your ACT score if you do practice test after practice test and focus on improving the areas where you are weakest. I know it may seem futile, but this is your first test of academy life. Are you going to push yourself and study or pack it in because the odds are slim?
