I got a decent score on the PSAT 10 earlier this year with a 1330, which I believe puts me in the top ~2-3% nationally. Just curious how my score stacks up in comparison to other cadet hopefuls as obviously the average SA applicant is far from the average American high school student. In retrospect that sounds a bit pretentious but I would appreciate any information on the matter.

Strive to reach the 1400 range to truly make yourself competitive. Also SAT scores a just a small part of what makes a competitive applicant. Luckily you have time to improve your file. PM me if you have questions. Good luck.

I have been told by many field reps that they're looking for 1250+ with around 600 in Reading and 650 Math. Looking good.

Check your detailed score report for predicted SAT scores taken as 11th grader. The PSAT scores do not always track exactly to SAT; this was the case when DS took it 2+ years ago. They constantly change the scoring systems so it is difficult to say exactly.

Use the PSAT score breakdown and practice SAT tests to find areas of weakness; you have time [all summer ] to study and improve.
Don't forget the essay section which is required and not usually part of PSAT.
