Am i screwed?

I can't disagree with any of the suggestions above. An email is a good tool to document the specifics, but as CaptMJ points out... immediately follow up with a personal visit or at least a phone call. I would do what I call "sitting on them" until it was complete. I might also pursue changing the recommendation source. However I wouldn't rely on one over the other. Pursue both if possible and hopefully one works out.
 
What is happening to you is not fair I agree, like we tell DD create a paper trail. Email in the future so you can backup what you are saying to prove what is happening. Also get your parents involved, let them be the bad guys right now.

I talked to admissions today and they said they will accept the recommendation as long as its done by today. I have reminded her twice today, and sent an email. She has told me she will have it done. Wish me the best!
 
Did you talk to the principal yet? That's key! She can promise all day long but if her boss isn't also following up with her then you may be in the same boat.
 
I had a similar situation with my high school counsellor. He filled out the recommendation the day before the deadline.
As for my official transcripts, he never sent them until someone from USCGA admissions emailed him directly asking for them. That was 2 weeks after the deadline that he sent them by email.
My application now shows as complete pending review.
