Far and away the hardest part of the application process.

That's true, but when you look back on it several months from now (whatever the outcome), you will agree that time flew by.

That's exciting! That means even more than that will be accepted, right?

If memory serves, the class of 2013 had about 295 on RDay, out of 400 appointments offered. So yes...to get 285, I would guess 350 plus appointments offered.

Yes. Last year there were about 256 that reported in at R Day including the international cadets.

I am on pins and needles for my daughter, trying not to think about it. Just saw something that said the emails are going out Christmas Eve for the EA folks, the day before her birthday. So that would be a great Christmas/birthday present:biggrin:

I'm conflicted...it would be a great gift, but conversely, a rejection could make for a sad Christmas. Trying to stay positive!

When I applied I got an email saying you could hear back anytime from mid November to Christmas Eve... So it could be any day now!!!

The Academy sent out an email stating that your application has been sent to the Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board for consideration under Early Action and that decisions would be posted online on rolling basis from mid-November to December 24th.
