After dropping my son off last night, I made my obligatory stop at Rite Aid. Living in PA where the state still runs the wine & spirit industry, I get excited to see the awesome prices. I feel like Uncle Jessie Duke crossing back over the PA state line, but I'll take my chances. My Bulleit bourbon tasted mighty fine sitting in front of the fireplace when I got home. You’ve discovered one of Annapolis’ lovable quirks. As I understand it, there used to be a package store on the premises with one of the coveted Annapolis close-in city liquor sales licenses. Rite-Aid decided to keep it, and that section of the store is always busy. Proximity to stadium, nearby marinas, Graul’s grocery store and catering deli, Naval Bagels, pizza restaurant and Chinese restaurant - all your basic food and party needs, from pre-party to hangover and your flu shot while you’re there.
