Lieutenant General Steve Wilson, Texas A&M '81 is nominated for promotion to the rank of General and reassignment as Vice Chief of Staff, US Air Force; he is currently serving as Deputy Commander of US Strategic Command, Offutt AFB, Nebraska. SMC grads will now be second in command of both the Air Force and Marine Corps.
