Still waiting on our acceptance letter or email. Nothing on the portal yet. DD received two nominations to the USNA from both Senator Vitter and Senator Bill Cassidy, and also two nominations to West Point. She is a National Merit Finalist, received a 34 on her ACT, carries a 3.8 GPA, and is a state champion athlete. I hope she gets in. Otherwise, there will be some tears on my shoulder in our house. She has a good 2nd option, though. She has already received the NROTC scholarship to attend Tulane University, but the Naval Academy is still her top choice. We are crossing our fingers. Good luck everyone.
