Any ideas as to approximate length...?

Hi everyone,

I'm filling out the standard congressional nomination packet

http://menendez.senate.gov/services/academy/academy_application.pdf?x=82&y=20

...and there's no indication as to about how long each of the responses should be. They're really open ended, so I could write anywhere from a hundred words to a thousand, and have no idea what length to make my answers. Did anyone here do this last year/knows what is expected?

I don't want to be lazy, but I don't want to overwhelm either.

Thanks!

After looking at the application from the link you provided, I would say you need to type your answers into the space given--for a normal size font you have about 10 lines or so. I didn't see any reference to attaching sheets of paper for longer responses. Plus, with the number of questions asked, his committee will already be busy with reading all the answers as it is! Maybe you'll get at answer from someone from NJ to answer your question, otherwise I would say the questions are all ones that can be answered within the space given on the PDF application.

If you're still unsure, you can always call his office and ask about longer responses!
