Any letters received for Marine Option?

I received it from the most recent board. The letter from the school was in a big envelope with a letter congratulating me on getting the scholarship and there were a few packets of information about the program at the school. It was from the program director. Which school is your son hoping to receive his to?

His first choice school is Purdue. He was accepted a few months ago. What part of the country are you from? We are in Texas.

Nice well hopefully he gets his first choice, I'm also going to a Big Ten school. I'm from Pennsylvania.

My daughter was accepted to all of her top 5 schools, got academic scholarships to Norwich and Auburn, has received notification that she got the Army ROTC scholarship but she still hasn't heard anything from the NROTC-Marine option scholarship. She wrote to her recruiter a couple of weeks ago and he hasn't responded. This waiting is killing us! (possibly me more than her!). Does anyone know the likelihood that she would have heard "no" by now if it were a definite no?
 
Have you phoned the recruiter? We had a situation during the application process where our original recruiter was replaced. We kept emailing him only to find out he was no longer there and there was a new Capt. in charge. Once we had the new recruiter's email we were back in business. Just a thought. Good luck!
 
Just phoned the recruiter and he said her name is not on the list of scholarship awardees. He couldn't say 100% that she didn't receive it, though, until she gets a letter saying so. :frown:
 
I'm sorry GAMCROTCMOM. However, don't loose hope! Maybe there is another list out there!
