Congratulations! My DS received an LOA/LOI last year around the beginning of December. His appointment came January 11 :) things are rolling along for you. Good luck!

My dd has listed all of her green checks and then the two red X-
Nomination not received.

Thank you so much! You are right on the mark, he surely is thriving!

He got through BCT in one piece (he was a three season runner and that helped him tremendously).
He has joined Honor Guard and those people have become more than family. They eat dinner together every night and they socialize every Friday night and beyond.
He has a very loving and attentive sponsor family and he is really excelling in his academics.

We really couldn’t ask for anything more as we sit over here in NY cheering him on from a far! My husband and I both noticed it is all coming together for him, because he seems to completely understands what he is there at the Academy for. He understands the endgame of putting in the hard work for the ultimate goal of commissioning and serving his country with other Air Force personnel. he is just so focused. This type of lifestyle & environment really fits him very well.

He comes home on Wednesday for a small Thanksgiving break and then a longer break in December. He’s living his dream and we are so happy to be on this journey with him.

I’m hopeful if this path opens up for you, and if it’s the right choice, you select it and thrive as well! Good luck to you as you interview and go through these next steps. 12/2 is not far away ….you got this :)

I am so happy to hear he is doing so well and has found his place! It must feel great to work so hard and finally start the next journey.

DS received one via portal earlier this week. Non-athlete. CFA cleared but not DoDMERB (just had the physical on Thursday). Last MOC interview is scheduled for December.

Congrats to your son! And crossing fingers for nom! Also, Is your name actually Susie fisher? If so, you may want to change your username.
 
For those who received the LOAs, just curious....did you all have your ALO interviews prior to the LOA coming to your portal?
