In thinking about our options, we have not had much luck with our recruiter and there has been multiple problems along the way. Thought maybe we would put a few more questions out there for help first so that maybe we can be better equipped when we meet with him again. Our son enlisted when he applied for the NROTC scholarship and has a July 5th leave date. Plan B is that he would like to delay that and get at least two of school first. All our research shows that he can get our of the enlistment with a separation interview and sight wanting to get his education first. Has anyone had experience with this? Also, he can still apply for ROTC correct? He has been accepted to a good state college and would like to go. Wants the Navy real bad but would like to get that education first.
