Any news on SLE?

Today is April 1, which is the last of the dates that acceptances were supposed to be sent. DS's portal still shows "pending". Wondering if anyone heard today that they made it in, or if anyone knows how late acceptances will be sent, how full the classes already are, etc.?
 
I haven't heard anything either. I thought we should have known by today.

My final correspondence last cycle was April 8th. My status was reportedly decided April 4th (Not Selected, unfortunately). You will hear back very soon, don't worry just yet! No news is better than bad news
 
You could be on the waitlist, too. Last year my daughter found out in May that she got in off the waitlist. As soon as our son's Boy's State selection is confirmed, in writing, he will be declining his spot at SLE, as they are the same week. I'm sure others are in the same boat, too, so more slots will open up in May.
 
Since I started the thread, I thought I would post that DS was accepted to SLE. He (and I) both got an email Saturday evening at 9:24pm. Interesting to get one on a weekend and at such a late hour. They must be really working overtime in admissions to complete the class of 2018 and work through the SLE applicants!
 
Still no word on SLE or NASS. I applied within the first 24 hours for both. I was on a CVW at Navy a few weeks ago and the plebe I followed told me he got a phone call 5 days before NASS last year saying he got in so its never too late to hear!

Not selected for SLE. My best guess is proximity to WP and applying too late in the cycle. They said the majority of the offers went out in March so oops. Good luck to everyone else, hope you hear back soon!
