Any Ohio Appointments Yet??

I scored 33 on ACT, 4.1 weighted GPA, varsity football, and various other activities. Did well on CFA at SLE. Received nomination but no BFE yet. Losing hope....
 
Don't lose hope! I know it's a horrible wait but when the BFE arrives, it is worth the wait. Your stats look good.

Have you been in contact with your RC? We are in OH 15 - live in a rural community - and son received his BFE on 1/20/17. No LOA or primary nom. His RC was a great help from the beginning.

ACT and GPA higher with All Ohio football multiple years, 2 additional varsity sports and great EC's. Did well on CFA at SLE.

I am not sure his feet will touch the ground before Beast.

Pat46...WAY TOO EARLY for you to start losing hope! It's February 7th, not May 7th.

I grant you that this is the most stressful time of the year for candidates...we get that. You've done your best, you've put your best foot forward (nice summary of your resume and impressive) and at this juncture, you've done all you can do and now it's completely out of your control. Have some faith in the system, focus on what you're doing now, get all your plans for B thru Z's in order, learn the virtue of patience and enjoy...yes, enjoy, this final semester of your high school years as you'll never be able to enjoy this time again.

I wish you well.
 
OH-02 (Cincinnati) , got appointed in January. 3 sport Varsity athlete, 4.0 GPA, but lower ACT than you! Nomination from Rep and Senator Brown. Hang in there, it's absolutely worth the wait.

You need 5 more posts before you can do that. No worries, they can be anything you like "Hi", What's new, Just posting to get to 10, etc."
