I know that plebes cannot bring any OTC meds on IDay and no OTC meds can be mailed to plebes, but I seem to remember reading somewhere (which I cannot seem to find now) that if you tell the medical staff on I Day that you take an OTC (like a seasonal allergy med), they will issue it from the pharmacy if they deem it as necessary? Is this indeed true? Is it frowned upon to make this request? I imagine there are many kids there w/seasonal allergies. Thanks so much for any help!

Bring the box/prescription/etc. Brigade Medical will reissue medication if it is deemed necessary.

Plebe issue includes a bottle of Advil, Pepto-Bismol, Tums, sunscreen, bugspray, cough drops, Neosporin, Vaseline, a box of Band-Aids, and more Purell than you can ever imagine.

This made me laugh out loud...
