So my Commander emailed that Lt. and she said she know by the end of this week. As most of you have said good luck to everyone.
 
Brutal news. I got a TWE today. I wasn't selected for the prep school or academy. :/

Oh well, i will most likely be applying for a ROTC scholarship or to the academy again next year.

I'm sorry to hear. Start working on an AECP package! "Application packages will be accepted by mail postmarked NET 1 February and NLT 15 February." Start taking classes at UMUC so you can show academic improvement. It shows that you are serious about getting the education and all. UMUC has classes on base.

How were you informed you didn't get accepted?! sorry I just joined the forum today. If anyone has any extra information please let me know. I've been on a TDY so I'm kind of behind on all this!
 
I received a letter.

HOPEFULLY it's not correct. I just received a letter from Lt Castravet that said:

A1C Duncan,

Let me check on that for you. Sometimes our Airmen get letters they shouldn't because the system mistakes you for a high school student. Let me know what it says and I will find out if it was supposed to be sent to you.

Just got a call from Lt Castravet. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH this is killing me, haha.

She said that letter was an accident and i shouldn't have received it. She said that the board is finalizing the direct appointees today, and the prep school appointments will follow after that.

She said i'm at the top of the list of people that admissions recommended for appointment to the prep school though. She said all of those that attended the LEAD DVP were all at the top. :biggrin:
 
This waiting is really getting annoying!!! My whole chain of command keeps asking and I know exactly as much as they do......nothing. Sorry for complaining but I think I am speaking for most of us. Hoping to hear something by friday. Good luck everyone!!
 
I know what you mean dude. I get asked "Hear anything yet" everyday. Haha. Hopefully!
 
Hey I bet you took a big sigh of relief, Johnd9090 LOL!! I feel bad that you got that letter and you thought you were done for. So congrats on still in the game with us.
 
I was definitely relieved. I hope we all just find out soon. That way I can have that over with. Then I have this Air Show to get over with here in May, than a Compliance Inspection in June, and then bam show up at the academy (if i get in). :shake:
 
I didn't call her. I e-mailed her about something, and she called me and told me about all that.
 
Just to let everyone know, I spoke to the LT today, they have the list. We should find out next week! good luck everyone!!!!
 
They have the list of all people that were accepted/denyed from the prep school and direct appointment?
 
Been lurking on these forums for a little while now, figure I might as well make a post and try to get connected.

Just got the call from my CO today, and it looks like I'm skipping p-school and going direct. Good luck to everyone else, you should be getting your calls soon.
