Any sponsored preps/self preps in the SAP at MMI next year?

There should be an icon at the bottom of your phone if you have the app for the site that says messages.

If this was directed to me, I apologize for the late reply. He was sponsored by Mom and Dad! He did received a MMI Presidential Scholarship and a Foundation Scholarship, so that made the decision easy!

Thank you. I think that means self-sponsored! My DS is sending in his room deposit this morning. He is looking forward to this opportunity.

We toured the campus over our spring break on a multi-state college tour. DS earned a 3.5 year ROTC scholarship but elected to attend MMI as a self-sponsored cadet. He appreciated all that MMI had to offer and is working hard to earn an appointment for the class of 2020.

Be on the lookout for the Magnus Health email. You will need to have a physical and have the doctor complete paperwork. Also have immunization records handy because you will have to provide those as well.
 
Anyone from FL using the FL prepaid? Financial Aid office said it fully covers tuition (I think fees too) and if you have the dorm plan it covers that too. I haven't talked to FL prepaid yet.

If i recall correctly, someone said the foundation scholarship is a 50% tuition scholarship, given for a good GPA, correct? Just curious... what is the presidential scholarship?

Presidential is 75% off tuition with a GPA. Of 3.75 and ACT of 25. Double check MMI website to confirm but that is what I recall reading.
 
So if you get both the Presidential and the foundation what does that bring your cost to? Or can you only get one? I thought I saw someone who said they got both.

Good point. 50% + 75% = 125%, I guess they then owe you 25%!!! Ha, ha!
 
My DS will attend MMI as a self sponsor for the USCGA. He didn’t get accepted this year. He admitted he needs to work harder academically and physically. He also admitted that he didn’t try his best. If he is accepted or not next year, he is already a winner because he is committed to trying again and has a plan B, that is go to a 4 year college and join the NROTC,

My daughter is also attending as a USCGA self prep. She is wait listed for the CGAS scholarship, so we are hoping she gets it.
