Someone will need to drive you up the day before R Day—there is a reception at AOG and for some of the sports teams & clubs. So head up early…it takes about 4-5 hrs, depending on where you start. be sure you all have an EZ Pass in the car. You can also fly up to Newark & spend the night in a hotel & then take the bus in w the other cadet candidates if there is no one available to drive you. (People will want to go w you!). Tell your parents about the Parents Club buses, please! Also there is a reception prior to kick off—so that you can meet some other cadets) also if your mom is on social media ask her to consider joining the West Point Moms page…it is a great way to get West Point and cadet related information.
