Although there may be some exceptions, in a normal year the RA decisions usually do not start to come out until March. The applications will be read in the order they were received, but admissions still will be comparing all the applicants against each other. They will also be considering which applicants are the best fit out of all those who applied RA as well as those who were deferred from EA. There will certainly be some applicants who admissions will consider a "definite yes" or a "definite no", but overall USCGA will be trying to determine which highly qualified applicants best fit in the remaining slots available for both USCGA and the Scholars program.
