Anyone Still on Initial Evaluation Pending

My portal still says initial evaluation pending. I'm trying to contact the admission team. Anyone else still in the same boat.
 
Both of my kids are also on "initial evaluation pending" and have been for about a week. I think they will give it another week and then reach out to the admissions team to see if any additional information is needed.
 
Try contacting your field force representative. If you don't know who they are, go to West Point's admissions page, click on Contact West Point, then click on the map to find your region, and you will be given some contact info. A few reasons your app may be pending is because your SAT scores are not high enough. Anything below a 560 in either the math or reading section is in the red zone (not sure for ACT). I believe you must meet a certain threshold to qualify you as a competitive candidate and get started with the app, but I am not sure. If scores are not the problem or you don't know the issue, be sure to contact your local rep. They are there to help! The admissions team will most unlikely respond due to their immense schedule with applications. Good luck!
