Anyone Still Waiting??

I know a few friends who received their TWE last week. If we've made it this far and haven't received one yet, are our chances more likely now?...

or are we waiting our turns for the gallows.. lol

Probably a good sign we haven’t been TWE’d, but the truth is we don’t know. Nothing is a guarantee, but we’re still alive, and that’s what counts.

Good Sunday morning future class of 2025/2026 USNA Mids! Praying for good news this week for our journey forward. Maybe some wishful thinking. Regardless our outcome, I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST! Keeping the FAITH! ⚓ Fly NAVY!
Good morning, TeamLuke!
Thank you so much for your positivity. You don’t know how beneficial it is to us.
That attitude makes for a great leadership.⚓👍
You are in our prayers.

Thank you! You and everyone's support on SAF is what helps us all get through these seas. The last year has not been easy for anyone. Especially those trying to complete a solid SA application. The hurdles jumped just to finish a SA application is a huge accomplishment in itself. Beyond trying to schedule CFA's, ACT/SAT's and getting through DoDMERB, I have learned that finishing strong is what's most important. Of course, giving 100% is key, but knowing your success is based on the person standing next to you is why we need to do this together. If I do not make it through to the USNA, I will ok. I will push on with Plan B and make it my Plan A. I will become an Officer and serve my country alongside people who are wanting the same thing. I am honored to stand next to each and everyone of you. It doesn't matter if you are from a SA, NROTC or Enlisted. Our country needs all of us to preserve what our founders fought for. Now it is our time to fight. Keeping the FAITH! ⚓ Fly NAVY!

As a veteran of both the Navy and the Coast Guard I can say you will make a fine Naval Officer with your attitude. Good luck, fair winds and following seas.

Where or how do you access the live chat? thanks for your help.
Go to US Naval Academy Admissions Website. On the upper right corner, there’s a connect button. Click that. Prepare to login using email/Facebook/Google verification. Once in, type name and Candidate #. Ask questions.

Thanks very much for the help! I was able to get on today.

Quick question. Should /could a parent go on the live chat ? Or is this frowned upon and solely for the candidate?

USNA Admissions chat is open to both students, parents, guidance counselors, BGOs, etc.

I would recommend that if this is a question pertaining solely to the candidate (DoDMERB, portal, etc.), the candidate should ask the question and take the lead. If this is a question pertaining to something you are involved in as a parent (visit to the Yard, etc.), it will be better for the parent.

My son, a high school Senior is still waiting. His portal says his application is under review. A schoolmate received a TWE, but he has not received anything. We are taking that as good news! He did receive the Marine Option ROTC 4 year scholarship. We are submitting his payment to hold his spot. We feel blessed that he was chosen for the 4 year scholarship. We were told that there were only 3 given out in Virginia.
