My status changed from "letter of assurance" to "complete". What does this mean?

Yeah, I just saw that too and my heart skipped a beat, I thought my LOA had been rescinded or something.

ds status changed that way last week. Congressman called on jan 10; BFE arrived yesterday. be patient a little longer - you should get that BFE real soon.

Mine was "Applicant" for a few weeks with File: "Complete" - then it changed to "Candidate'* saying that the USAFA finds me "competitive". Then, last week I received a Congressional Nomination. The portal reflects the nom but my status has not changed. Candidate and Complete. Waiting. Any insight???

Patience. My son's nominations were entered into the AFA system on 12/10. His status on line did not change until yesterday, 1/13/11.
