Application Deadline

On my portal, it shows that my AFA deadline is November 15. But it still allows me to submit some documents. Does this mean I can still submit until the end deadline (December 31), or am I not considered a candidate because I did not submit all my documents by November 15. I only turned in the portal with all the personal questions and essays by November 15.

From page 7 of the Instructions to the Candidate 2027,
"Your Candidate Kit deadline is displayed in red on the first page of your Portal. It is your
responsibility to ensure ALL Checklist Items with a red are marked COMPLETE with a
green checkmark no later than two weeks after your Candidate Kit deadline. Note:
DoDMERB physicals/results, ALO Evaluation and Nomination(s) may be received AFTER
this two week deadline."

I would contact your Team Blue or Team Silver if you are not able to meet the documents deadline and see if they can extend it for you.
