My application was submitted in the middle of January. To this day, it is still under the status of CPR. Just curious about the ETA for a notification would be.....I know I submitted the application a bit later than I should have..TYTY

DD's was also complete in mid January when her BGO interview was finally submitted and still CPR as well. Not really sure what happens as far as status change from here.

Same here. Late math teacher recommendation, and DS submitted another CFA. We're hoping.

AD Military here, waiting too. I finished mine at the end of January, my buddy who finished his a week before me got into NAPS, so maybe I'll be next!

Good luck to all.

You will be CPR until an appointment, NAPS, or Foundation decision is made....April 15 is the date USNA publishes that all candidates will be notified by...be prepared to wait until then.
Completed in early Oct + 2 Noms in Dec - still waiting. Is this unusual? How many total appointmens (beyond what is listed on this forum) have likely been awarded so far?

Son has been CPR since middle of September. Waivers approved for shoulder surgery and color deficiency 2/2. Received a letter for him to acknowledge restricted line on 2/13. The wait goes on.............. [emoji41]

Patience is a virtue that he has perfected this year. Me - not so much. Ha!

Congrats on the waivers.

colorado1098....it is not unusual...many other candidates are in the same situation. In the meanwhile, don't waist your energy on trying to figure out the odds...better off spending that energy in activities to distract you until mid-April.

Yes my DD is much better at the waiting game than I am!

Last year DS completed entire app before September 1 and stayed CPR until April when he was put on the wait-list.
This year, as a college-reappliant, he submitted in late January and received his appointment on Feb 3.

The wait can be long.
Don't give up the ship!

Love4monsters, so your child is only allowed to go restricted?

Yes - he had to sign a document reflecting his restricted line status. He passed the FALANT and we've read he will be retested with it on I Day but could be an urban legend. He leans toward the USMA side of life. Went on a CVW in September and really enjoyed the Naval Academy. Marine ground would be his preference at the Naval Academy. Doesn't have the vision to fly even without the color deficiency.

Son tore his labrum at SLE and missed his senior year of football after 2 years being All Ohio for a chance at the academies. He made the decision to have the surgery in early August for more waiver time. It was a gamble due to the compressed timeline but it paid off. Took the sting out of missing his last year playing ball with his friends and younger brother. Grew up quick and made some adult decisions. His feet haven't touched the ground since he was appointed on 1/20/17. [emoji173]️
