Hello everyone,

I attend an application-only magnet school which demands at least a 3.5 GPA for admission, and requires that you maintain a 3.5 GPA throughout your schooling, or face expulsion. Last year I was ranked no. 2 out of about 200, so I'm doing pretty well. How do I clue in the admissions board to my accelerated situation?

From what I've read, they use your transcripts and ranking to determine, along with stats from your school and how many grads attend college, etc. to determine how competitive it is.
Plus, you lost your ranking on your preliminary application. Make sure it's supported by your official transcript that you will send.

When your transcript is sent it will include a school profile. USNA will know your school on past history and this profile. Your BGO is also from your area and will be familiar with your school and can address this in his write up.
